Tell us about some movies you've seen recently and how you felt about them. Try not to use any spoilers but talk generally about your experience with the film.
Tonight, I went and saw Mama, mostly because Guillermo Del Toro was involve to a degree, and I've enjoyed everything he's put his name on since Pan's Labyrinth. I had a few problems with the film, as people are allowed to have, but overall I found it enjoyable, and at least must more enjoyable than Sinister, which I expected much, much more from.
I've always finally gotten around to seeing Sleepless in Seattle and other than a clever title in correspondence to the radio show citing him as that character name (which, to me, is the whole "ooo they said the name of the movie IN the movie" lame-ness) it was overall disappointing, fake, unnatural and overacted at parts, mostly by Bill Pullman, and one scene in particular by Tom Hanks. It definitely doesn't compare to You've Got Mail, which I wouldn't say is amazing either but a fun relaxing flick.
Django Unchained was great, a bit talky in parts, but all around enjoyable. The Hobbit was fun and visually stunning.
Also, for those who are Tom Hardy fans and want to see a different side of him while maintaining his ass-kicking ways, check out the indie flick Bronson, which depicts the real-life story of Britain's most aggressive and dangerous prisoner who wants to be famous and does so by fighting prison guards. Very cool to watch, has a neat dynamic, and the acting is phenomenal.
Share with us some movies you have seen recently or think we should see!

For Tom Hanks romantic comedy you have to check out "That Thing You Do". I don't really get Sleepless in Seatle myself, but people seem to love it.
Recently saw Penelope which is a modern day fairy tale type of movie which was cute, but not the type of thing you would necessarily recommned to a large audiance.
Really enjoyed the Hobbit as well, but I'm really not sure that it should ever be 3 movies. Kinda scary that.
I would recomend checking out Cloud Atlas if you want a bit of a thinker. You may hate or love it, but it's worth the watch for the discussions possible afterward.
