CHange does not kill sites unless you let it. If people like EA, they will stay. If you make it seem like you guys, as the ones who run it, hate the change and don;t support it, people will follow through and lose interest. You need to stop talking DOWN to the change and build up all the positive. It's a good change, but people are stuck on crap from 5 years ago and refuse to see all the positive.
And I still have NO idea what the problem you are having with cut copy and paste is. I just can;t reproduce it. I have used 3 browsers and only 1 time once 2 weeks ago, did I have a problem even remotely like what you described. It was with Internet Explorer. If you are using explorer, upgrade to Chrome. It works almost 100% of the time for me.

Once you go so many lines down it will no longer allow you to block it and edit it. You have to backspace and type it. I won't be doing that. Also when you copy from a roster and paste and comes out looking totally different and editing from that point is a total nightmare. And the site ends up looking like crap as everything os posted in different sizes and fonts and colours and it looks like hell.

I am only going ahead with this right now in hopes that atleast one site will survive out of this. The copy, paste and edit function is horrible for me. I don't know why it is doing it for everybody else and not you. I know it really affects what I do on here.

Some time we should arrange a skype-meeting so you can walk we though exactly what you are doing and i can look at it.
The only time what I paste looks different is when I am looking at things in "preview" or "visual" mode, rather than "BBCode" mode.
When you are posting messages, there are 2 tabs at the bottom that say "Preview" and "BBCode". I have never had formatting copy over when I am pasting stuff into BBCode mode. In Preview mode I can see where it might do something weird though. But this is only guessing.
What do you use most of the time, Firefox, Chrome, or IE?

IE. My Biggest problem is editing stuff. Just try this for me. Go into standings and try and block one of the last place teams in the West conference like you were going to edit it. After so many posts it won't let me block them to edit it. See if it does it for you. I have to backspace and type to edit them after a certain point

OKay, I just did that for about 5 mins (edited most teams records, and rankings) in Firefox, had no problems. Then went into IE, did the same thing for about 5 mins, and didn't have the problem you describe THIS TIME - BUT I did have something like that happen the last time I was messing around in IE a couple weeks ago. It's aggravating as hell!!!
I would STRONGLY recommend you switch to Firefox or Chrome moving forward for EA and GMPro. I edit ALL THE TIME on ManMMA, and if I had to deal with the shit you are describing, it would break my brain. One of those two browsers should solve that problem for you, as I have NEVER had that problem in either one. Only the one time and it was in IE.
I also found that in IE, when I did copy and move teams around in standings, it seemed to grab more than I was trying to grab at times, whereas I didn;t have that problem with FIrefox, but yeah, that's kind of secondary to the bigger problem you are describing.
Try Chrome or Firefox if you can.

that's too bad, isn't there another decent simulator out there?
I said the above, realized I didn't read the rest of the thread and now take it back. All is apparently well. oi.
